DORO Pesch: "I've experienced my own death". RTL Television shows the past life regression of the rock singer. "I firmly believe in reincarnation!", says DORO Pesch. „I've always felt in my heart that I've been on earth for several times already - and now, I can be certain.“ A knowledge which the famous rock singer gained from a professionally guided regression which took place recently with the specialist Ursula Demarmels in Cologne. A spiritual regression during which the blonde from Duesseldorfer not only re-experienced some of her past lives, but also her own death.
„That was a shock; I died in the Middle Ages in a dungeon in Dubrovnik. It was a very miserable death, which I have now almost relived again one to one. A terrible experience where I had to nibble some time, because it felt really scary during the regression.“
"I was male in tat life; a real bon vivant who enjoyed amusing himself with wine, women and song. Somehow I then landed in jail for years - and died there. "Do I have a fear of death? And what comes next? Questions that sooner or later every human being arises. Jenke von Wilmsdorff seeks for answers and hopes to find them with the help of Ursula Demarmels. The regression expert takes Jenke into trance and guides him into a potentially prior life. Is this just hocus pocus or actually possible? Despite the queasy feeling, Jenke is ready for the regression. And really, he finds himself in another life. Starting on Sunday the first of August 2010, RTL Television will show new episodes of "My First Life – I have already been here" with top presenter Katja Burkard. In the first episode, celebrities in will be guided into a previous existence for the first time.
Is it just a coincidence or reality yet? Can people set into trance really report about a past life? Moreover, when, where and how they have lived before? "Punkt 12" presenter Katja Burkard makes the test in the new episodes of "My First Life - I was already here", shown by RTL from Sunday 1 August 2010 on at 19.05 clock. In addition to ordinary people, the presenter in the inaugural episode will for the first time also accompany celebrities at their regression into an earlier existence. Actress Xenia Seeberg and Casting Director Rolfe Scheider lie down on the couch and experience a lot of surprises.
What initially sounds absurd, has astonished the volunteers and the RTL team again and again: The internationally recognized regression therapist Ursula Demarmels, lecturer for relaxation and hypnosis techniques at Salzburg University, has already guided more than 1,700 people into a previous life. For this, she sets people into trance, who then tell about their former lives. Under hypnosis, the puzzle of their prior life gradually blends together
Intensive Emotions and Prior Existences
The subjects reported annual figures, about buildings, clothes or certain events of the time in which they want to have lived. Their exceptionally detailed descriptions are then critically examined by historians and experts, with the amazing result, that their descriptions of places and their past living conditions in part match to one hundred percent with historically verified facts. The last puzzle piece completes the picture of a previous existence when Katja Burkard, together with the regressed persons visits the places where they lived supposedly. The emotions experienced by the regressed persons are completely different, but always intense, "We have experienced great joy, but also vibration, for example, when our subjects came to places where they would have experienced dramatic things," said the presenter. After all, the subjects in their regression not only learn the truth about their former living conditions, but also about some very tragic circumstances of her death. At the end of their journey, however, are all very relieved because the comforting feeling prevails, "that after death, not really everything has to be over."
The three episodes of the documentary series shown at RTL in summer 2010 were seen by 10 million viewers, making a total of around 14 million viewers so far (August 2009 & 2010)

Our presence on Earth is known to be limited in time. But what actually happens before, and afterwards? The documentary TV series project of RTL addresses questions concerning our prior life: In "My first life...", renowned journalist and presenter Katja Burkard accompanies "ordinary people in their regression to a previous life, lets historians check the detailed descriptions given during trance, and visits the places of their prior life with the clients". By means of specialized hypnosis techniques, the "internationally recognized Swiss spiritual regression therapist Ursula Demarmels guided two test persons into a journey to their prior lives".
The 28-year-old interior designer Anne from Cologne tells during hypnosis about her life as a damsel in the middle of the 16th Century at a Castle of the Knights in Alsace. True to detail, she describes her life in the castle, describes spaces and the environment. "Intensive research" proves the spatial details to be correct, although Anne wants to be has never been in Alsace in her current life. Afterwards, when the team travelled to the place Anne had reported during hypnosis, "a very emotional encounter with Anne's 'first life'" is taking place.
The 46-year-old sales manager Bodo reports in a trance of (prior) his life as a simple farmer's son in the early 19th Century. On the way from Germany to Italy, he loses a leg in an accident and is taken up by Capuchin monks in a monastery in Abruzzi. From an old man, he learns the mandolin playing and from now on earns his maintenance with the making of crutches and walking sticks. "
The pilot episode was seen by more than 4 Million viewers.
All four episodes together, shown in between 2009 and 2010, were watched by around 14 Million viewers.
